Donna Crandall Foundation raises $150,000 for Cystic Fibrosis

More than $150,000 was raised recently at the 13th annual Emerald Eve to benefit The Donna M. Crandall Memorial Foundation. Held at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs, 385 guests helped make the charity’s only annual fundraising the most successful to date. Every penny will be used to provide financial support and hope to local Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients and their families. A 501c3 non-profit, family-run, volunteer-based charity, the Donna M. Crandall Memorial Foundation has raised $1.9 million since its inception in 2000. Assistance is provided in a myriad of ways, depending on individual needs. Whether it is used to help with the costs associated with the double-lung transplant process (travel, accommodations, medical fees, etc.), by covering living expenses while a patient is ill or hospitalized, or by making life as an in-patient more tolerable (gift bags, cafeteria gift cards, etc.), the Foundation has never said no to a patient or family in need.
